Molesey, Dittons & Hinchley Wood Neighbourhood Watch (MDNHW)

Molesey, Dittons & Hinchley Wood NHW region comprises the following electoral wards
History
Molesey, Thames Ditton (including Weston Green) and Long Ditton, although being in Surrey, used to be in the Metropolitan Police jurisdiction and they ran Neighbourhood Watch (NHW). However, when they lost the resource to do this, the main coordinators formed their own committee and took over. When the police boundary changed and we came under Surrey Police, we worked closely with Elmbridge Police, who were also coordinating neighbourhood watch for the other NHW groups in Elmbridge. Hinchley Wood did not have a NHW group, so it was added to our NHW region. Later, we worked with Elmbridge Police and the other Elmbridge NHW groups to create a unified Elmbridge NHW, with common processes and procedures, and run by a committee of the 8 NHW Regional Coordinators, Elmbridge Police and Elmbridge Council.
